Minutes City of Ely Perspective Ltd AGM – Thursday 26th February 2009 Present: Philip Eden, Jean Pearson, Derek Wilcox, Alan Mittens, John Simmons, Liz Sayers, Pat Hillman, Peter Hillman, Jackie Petts, two members from Transition Ely, Sheila Friend –Smith, Derek Crawley, Will Burton, Jeremy Tyrrell.     1. Welcome and Apologies: Apologies were received from John Yates, Ian Burton Palmer and Liz Wainwright. PE welcomed those present 2. Report from Chairman PE reported that projects were moving forward and the Perspective remained a Healthy and vibrant organisation. 3. Report from Secretary As John Yates was unable to attend there was no report. A basic spreadsheet of income and expenditure was distributed to those present and questions were invited. DC asked what had happened to computer. PE reported that hard drive had been wiped & hardware given to charity. PH asked if there would be funding for Riverside action plans. JP asked if ECDC was was approached for funding. PE explained that there had been funding in the past, now each project was looked at individually.  4. Directors PE,DC & JS retired in accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association and offered themselves for re-election. Proposed by Derek Wilcox, seconded by Will Burton agreed en bloc. SFS proposed PE as Chair, this was seconded by DW and unanimously agreed. There being no other nominations PE took the chair. PE nominated JY as Secretary, this was seconded by DC and unanimously agreed. There being no other nominations JY became Secretary in his absence. 5. Resolutions & AOB There were no resolutions. JP reported how much she enjoyed the meeting held the previous week to work on ways to help Ely through the Credit Crunch. There was some discussion re the event & ideas that may come from it. DW asked how the Steeple Row project was progressing . SFS replied that it was now at Planning application stage. The meeting closed at 6.30pm
